Download and Install Dell OpenManage for Windows. You will only need command line toolsat this point, Web-based management tools \/ SNMP tools can wait.<\/p>\n<p>2. Change your current directory to c:\\Program Files\\Dell\\SysMgt\\omsa\\bin:<\/p>\n<p>cd c:\\Program Files\\Dell\\SysMgt\\omsa\\bin<\/p>\n<p>4. Run the following command to reset ECC errors counters:<\/p>\n<p>dcicfg32 command=clearmemfailures<\/p>\n<p>It should print:<\/p>\n<p>clearing failures using mask: 31<\/p>\n<p>DIMM1 : ok<br \/>\nDIMM2 : ok<br \/>\nDIMM3 : ok<br \/>\nDIMM4 : ok<br \/>\nDIMM5 : ok<br \/>\nDIMM6 : ok<br \/>\nDIMM7 : ok<br \/>\nDIMM8 : ok<\/p>\n<p>5. Run the following command to check if everything OK:<\/p>\n<p>omreport chassis<\/p>\n<p>The result should be similar to:<\/p>\n<p>Main System Chassis<\/p>\n<p>SEVERITY : COMPONENT<br \/>\nOk : Fans<br \/>\nOk : Intrusion<br \/>\nOk : Memory<br \/>\nOk : Power Supplies<br \/>\nOk : Processors<br \/>\nOk : Temperatures<br \/>\nOk : Voltages<br \/>\nOk : Hardware Log<br \/>\nOk : Batteries<\/p>\n<p>6. To clear your system events log, run the following command:<\/p>\n<p>racadm clrsel<\/p>\n<p>That's it! Errors have been cleared, but it doesn't guarantee that they will not appear again.
